Hovering Bee

Wild flowers are great for capturing bees in flight. The flowers have a long season, lots of variety and they retain their colour even up to the first snow fall. This picture was taken later in the summer when the flowers still look great. The bees slow down their flight speed at this time of year making it easier to capture them in flight. 20 pictures later and this one was the best of the bunch. *click on picture
