Bee on Flower

Here is a close-up of a bee on a flower. With the bees moving slower later in the summer, it makes it possible to get the closest pictures possible. A faster shutter speed helps to freeze the frame and retain sharpness. * click on picture

I believe what you got was a bee fly. Looks very much like a bee to prevent birds from eating it. The flower is sone sort of Helianthus, which I suppose could be called a "minor sunflower".
